I was born on January 24, 1957 in Rensselaer,
Indiana. After graduating from high school there in
1975, I attended St. Francis College (now the
University of St. Francis). I graduated with a BA in
Business Administration in 1979.
After graduation from college, I moved to
Washington, D.C. While there, I worked in a number
of forgettable jobs as a bookkeeper and accountant.
However, my life would change forever when I picked
up the sport of rugby. In the fall of 1980, I joined
the Washington Irish R.F.C., which at that time was
only one season old. During the next eleven years,
rugby was the one constant in my constantly changing
life.
Then after the fallout of the depressed real estate
market in 1991, I headed south to Florida. There I
hooked up with another fledgling rugby club, the
Sarasota Red Tide. I had the honor in playing in the
first match the club ever played in 1991. Seven
years later, old age and a lack of athletic skill
(as if I had any in the first place, LOL) caught up
with me and I retired from active playing.
Since then, I’ve embarked on a writing career. In
addition to this collection of short stories and
other published pieces, I’ve performed in theater,
standup comedy, poetry readings, and recently
finished my first major motion picture role in
Vampire Biker Babes, due to be released in 2007.
I currently reside in Sarasota, Florida. |
